art+contraptions was asked to submit various proposals for permanent sculptures at a marine center's new facilities. i was contacted to act as a design collaborator on the proposals. we developed various design options, I made concept renders that were submitted to the client. this organic seagrass inspired design was chosen, i helped create parametric systems for iterating and refining the site-specific sculpture and generating build drawings. the project was successfully installed in Chauvin, Louisiana.
